I have cared about wildlife since I was little, gaining the love and knowledge of the great outdoors from my parents. I love to learn, educate and for my illustrative practise to have a purpose. My main purpose of what I do is to help others realise how beneficial it is to be in nature and all the interesting species we have here in the UK.

You might find me most places under the name Merløreli. I’m an illustrator/ creator currently based in Newark. My work contains my heart and soul whether that be through drawings, paintings or making my clay creatures. Generally, if you get talking to me about anything nature related I probably won’t stop, but hopefully my enthusiasm infects you and you go away with some new knowledge or new fascinaton about UK species.
